Michael Campbell
Chief - Criner Hills, OK Fire Dept
I've been a volunteer firefighter/officer for 30 years starting in October of 1995. I was also an operator in a oil refinery for 20 years. I have personnally been involved in many emergency situations within the private and public sectors. These experiences have led me to be able to connect to people within these areas and form a common connection. I have always had an interest in peer support but never took the opportunity to be involved. After I was approached to train in MEMI and going through the protocol of it personally, I believed in and personally experienced positive effects from it. Through several life obstacles and experiences, I now feel that I can positively be involved in Peer Support.
Marie’s career has always been centered in the medical field and serving others. After obtaining her B.S. in Sports Medicine and M.S. in Sports Health, she spent many years working as a collegiate Athletic Trainer. After getting married, she worked for 16 yrs as a veterinary technician. In 2018, she joined the volunteer Fire Department & loves serving her community in this manner. Through her own therapy journey, she has realized her true identity and wants to help others find freedom, healing and wholeness. EMDR and MEMI played crucial roles in her healing journey by bringing awareness to beliefs she had no idea were driving her but that awareness allowed her to heal those areas. Since becoming certified in MEMI in 2025, she has helped start the non-profit, The Eyes of the Storm, and is working to coordinate a Peer Support team for Love County, OK. She works with first responders, veterans, their families and the community by bringing awareness and freedom to anyone who wants it!
